The distinguished sons of Sri S.N. Rangasamy Naidu established the S.N.R. Sons Charitable Trust in 1970. The trust is a devoted follower of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa, and as such, all the institutions it established are named after the holy master “Sri Ramakrishna.” The Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, Sri Ramakrishna Dental College and Hospital, Sri Ramakrishna College of Nursing, Sri Ramakrishna College of Physiotherapy, and Sri Ramakrishna College of Pharmacy are among the few hospitals and institutions managed by the trust.

The college was established in 2000 and is One of the popular Private Dental Institutions in India. It is affiliated with Dr. MGR Medical Health University, Tamil Nadu, and is recognized by the Dental Council of India. The MDS program consists of three years of academic and practical training specialization. MDS is offered in any one of the following 5 specialties at Sri Ramakrishna Dental College and Hospital –

The postgraduate students receive training in metal ceramic and all ceramic restorations, precision attachments, cast partial dentures, maxillofacial prostheses, and implant-supported prostheses in the central lab. This allows them to become familiar with the laboratory techniques that will enable them to perform clinical work with more expertise.

There are four well-spaced lecture halls on the campus. A maximum of 100 students can be accommodated in each lecture hall. Smart Boards and newly elevated dais enhance the educational experience for students in these lecture halls.

A fully air-conditioned conference hall is available at Sri Ramakrishna Dental College and Hospital. 250 seats in the meeting room are provided. The Hall is equipped with a digital projector, audio system, raised dias, and platform. The Hall routinely hosts committee meetings, scientific events, and cultural gatherings. There are five seminar halls with projectors and wireless internet access. The undergraduates and postgraduates frequently use the seminar halls for journal club meetings, case presentations, and seminar presentations.

The college offers separate hostels for both boys and girls with rooms that are well-ventilated and decorated. The residents are under the care of the In-House Warden, Assistant Warden, Supervisor, and helpers. The hostel mess serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food that is tasty, and hygienic. There are facilities for washing clothing and doing laundry separately. Recreational space, and fire safety provisions are also provided. There are first aid supplies and round-the-clock emergency medical facilities. Waste is managed appropriately.

For the faculty, students, and patients, the college canteen offers high-quality, hygienic, and real homemade-style vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. It can hold up to 50 people. A variety of menu options are available for selection. There are provisions for separate clubs that are expected to enhance the students’ teamwork, leadership, communication, and public speaking skills.
