Mansarover Dental College Bhopal Overview

Mansarover Dental College Bhopal came into being under Sri Sai Gramotthan Samiti in 2007. The college is affiliated with the Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur, and is recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. It is also popularly known as one of the Best Dental Colleges located in India.

The college conducts numerous research projects in association with various well-known organizations in their own research center and also provides opportunities for students. Regular outreach camps are held which helps in a turnover of good patient inflow. The college has a fully functional dental healthcare system with well-equipped dental chairs, dental X-ray machines, casting machines, etc.

The BDS course is for 5 years; 4 years involve academics and the last year comprises of a mandatory internship. The eligibility criteria are that the candidates : 

  • Should pass the 12th Board examination.
  • Should obtain a qualifying score in the NEET-UG entrance examination.

The course of MDS is for 3 years. The eligibility criteria are that the candidates : 

  • Should have passed Bachelor Of Dental Surgery and completed their annual internship.
  • Should complete the degree from a recognized dental college.

Girls’ and boys’ hostels are separate but situated on campus. The rooms of the hostels are well-ventilated and are furnished. The hostels remain under full supervision by a hostel warden and a security guard. The hostels have a mess facility for the availability of food for the students. Apart from the mess, a cafeteria within the campus also serves the purpose of food.

The college also has a fitness center and a yoga center to rehabilitate the soul, mind, and body. Sports facilities are made available for the recreation of the students. The institution also has a herbal garden. This promotes an eco-friendly environment with clean and fresh air. Renewable sources of energy are utilized in the college.
