Bhaba College of Dental Sciences was established in 2009 under the Bhaba Group of Institutions. The Bhaba University is sponsored by Ayushmati Education and Social Society.

Courses Offered

The BDS course runs along for a period of 4 years plus 1 year of compulsory internship. The first two years of the course include only educational training along with an introduction to pre-clinical laboratories in the second year. The third and fourth years include both academic training and clinical training. Subjects taught in the first two years are Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Dental materials, Dental Histology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Pre-clinical Conservative, and Prosthodontics. The third year includes subjects like General Surgery, General medicine, and Oral Pathology. The final year contains dental-related subjects such as Prosthodontics, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Pedodontics, Periodontics, etc. The eligibility criteria are that the candidates : 

  • Should pass the 12th Board examination.
  • Should obtain a qualifying score in the NEET-UG entrance examination.

The BDS degree is awarded to the student only after the competition of their internship year.

The course of MDS runs along for a period of 3 years. MDS includes department-specific educational, practical training, and specialization. The eligibility criteria are that the candidates : 

  • Should have passed Bachelor Of Dental Surgery and completed their annual internship.
