Amrita School of Dentistry is a private dental institution that came into being in 2003. The college is affiliated to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham which is a NAAC Grade ‘A++’ institute. The dental college is recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI). the college is housed in an area of 154,000 sq. ft. and is considered one of the biggest dental colleges in Asia. Postgraduate courses started in the year 2010.

The college offers a BDS course of 5 years i.e. 4 years of BDS plus 1 year of mandatory rotatory internship. The candidates seeking admission to the BDS course are required to qualify for the NEET-UG Entrance Examination and also must have passed the 10+2 board examination.

The MDS program is 3 years of academics. The candidates seeking admission to MDS are required to qualify for the NEET-PG Entrance Examination. The candidates also should complete their BDS from a recognized dental college and must also be registered dental practitioners in any State Dental Council. MDS is offered in the following departments –
