Admission Process to SRM Dental College
The dental admission process to SRM Dental College, Chennai, is conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee of India (MCCI). Once you have completed your online registration, the security fee deposition is done. You have to pay Rs. 2,00,000/- as a counseling security deposit to the MCCI. It is mandatory for everyone! However, this amount is refundable; hence, you will get it back once the complete course of counseling is over.
Usually, that takes 6–8 months, depending upon the sequence of the process and the counseling authorities. This amount is not adjusted or deducted from your course fee. As you pay the security deposit, you become eligible for choice-filling! The name justifies that in this step, you enter your choices of college and course.
