Sharavathi Dental College is a private dental college established in 1992. It came into being under the aegis of Sharavathi Education Trust, Shimoga. The college is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and is recognized by the Dental Council of India. The college aims to deliver quality dental care through quality education and conduction of various research activities.

Subbaiah Dental College is a part of Tadikela Subbaiah Trust, Shimoga, Karnataka, India. The trust was formed in the year 2003 by Sri T. Subbaramaiah. The college offers courses in Medical, and Dental The institution is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). It is recognized by the Dental Council of India. It has also received the essentiality certificate from the Medical and Health Education Department. Attached to the dental college, is a multispecialty hospital called Subbaiah Medical College with a capacity of 1100 beds.

The eligibility criteria to be admitted to any dental college in India is to qualify NEET-UG entrance examination and also score a minimum of 50% marks in their 10 + 2 board examination. The candidate also must be 17 years of age.

If the minimum eligibility criteria are met, then you must go through the step-wise counseling procedure conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore.

How to Apply for Admission to MDS Colleges in Shimoga?

The eligibility criteria for applying to any MDS dental college are as follows:

  • You will have to receive your BDS degree from a recognized dental college by the Dental Council of India.
