The candidate should also be a minimum of 17 years of age. This degree consists of 2 years. Candidates are selected based on their academic performances on their 10+2 examination. The Dental Mechanic course is a diploma course that is closely connected to dentistry. This course provides specific training to the candidate or student in dental technology. The successful completion of any prosthetic dental procedure requires work to be done by these dental mechanics from the dental laboratory for precision. The total duration of the course is 2 years.
