NEET MDS Dress Code 2026 – The Myth, Facts and Rules To Follow

Hi NEET MDS aspirants! Around 6 years ago, when I appeared for my NEET MDS exam, there were no guidelines regarding the dress code!

There were definitely strict security checks and CCTV monitoring. However, after multiple reports of unfair means, the NTA has been stringent about the dress code guidelines.

I do remember one of the security personnel asking me to remove a metallic bangle I was wearing. I had to rush out to my bag and leave it there so that I could get my entry to the exam hall. That actually cost me some time and physical exhaustion.

To be honest, this is actually a good step to ensure a smooth and easy exam process. It also simplifies the confusion around what to wear on the exam day. Saves a lot of time! Hehe!   Additionally, now NEET MDS aspirants have a clear understanding of the same, and that is always helpful.

This blog is about some basic guidelines to help you prepare your dress for exam day.  The guidelines are decided by the exam authority and apply to every NEET MDS aspirant.
