Vyas Dental College and Hospital Jodhpur Overview

In September 2006, Vyas Dental College & Hospital, Jodhpur (VDCH) was established as a subsidiary organization of Rajasthan Vikas Sansthan. The institute opened its doors at the serene and friendly Pali Road site because of the exceptional vision and dedication of Mr. Manish Vyas, whose passion for sharing sharp knowledge and sophisticated dental treatment with a humanitarian approach.

With over 100 specialized physicians and paramedics providing advanced care with a focus on the rural people of Rajasthan, VDCH has expanded over the years to become a comprehensive, contemporary dentistry college and hospital. The college is recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and is affiliated with the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences.

The 150-bed Christian Mission Hospital in Jodhpur offers a range of medical specialties, including outpatient and inpatient care, critical care, emergency care, day and night pharmacy, certified blood bank, and highly skilled medical staff. At this facility lies the Vyas Dental College and Hospital.

Since its founding, it has concentrated on giving its students a top-notch education by offering direction and chances for practical experience. Because of its central location and free minor treatment offered to most patients, the dental facility sees a high volume of new patients.

The college’s vision is to create a society devoid of issues related to oral hygiene and to cultivate bright young dentists who will be in demand in big enough quantities to meet the needs of the community and also be the best dental facility for systemic learning and strategic services, with an emphasis on the poor and marginalized who typically skip on oral hygiene.

The mission of the college is to teach the best values-based education possible, and ethics based on the ideas of giving back to the community, helping the impoverished, creating a pool of talented dentists, and reinventing dentistry to achieve world-class oral hygiene excellence and creating a healthy, disease-free nation.

To give the people of Jodhpur and the surrounding towns access to much-needed specialized healthcare, the campus hospital was opened in 2009. With 100 beds and 12 different medical specialties, the hospital offers round-the-clock patient care and modern technology. The general medicine, general surgery, and dental surgery specialty departments provide the best possible care. Students can receive free medical care at Vyas Institutes of Higher Education, a multi-facility hospital located on the grounds of the Educational Institution, which remains open 24/7.

The campus is entirely residential. All students must dwell in the institute’s hostels. The hostel atmosphere and the amenities offered to students are crucial to their overall growth while they are enrolled in classes. Hostel-related issues are handled by a team of two wardens at each hostel, one of whom is the Warden-in-Charge and the other is the Mess-in-Charge. On campus, hostels have been thoughtfully planned.

There are separate hostel blocks for boys and girls, each with enough open space and a garden surrounding them. The blocks also provide reading rooms with televisions and kitchens. Strict oversight is maintained by the management on food quality and hygiene. Sufficient security measures have been implemented to guarantee the well-being of the students. A residential warden keeps a tight eye on the hostels.  Three students can fit in each room.

Curtains, mattresses, and furniture are supplied. For students’ free time, every hostel has fully furnished common areas. To cater to the many needs of students, there is a canteen, laundry service, mess facility, STD booth, and general store. Students can play in, relax in, and enjoy the green spaces. The institution has considered housing visitors who end up joining our family. There are beds, fans, power, and water facilities for students in these hostels, which are eager to provide a comfortable environment. Students are given coolers in the summer and heaters and hot water for bathing during the winter.

One of the most popular places for students to hang out on campus is the cafeteria. It offers a wide range of snacks, drinks, soup, chilled drinks, and desserts. It’s a location where you may receive refreshments and feel rejuvenated. The college canteen serves wholesome cuisine to both staff and students. High standards of sanitary nourishment are made feasible in the kitchen by appliances like steam cooking and cold storage.

Students receive instruction in a variety of sports and games from knowledgeable and skilled instructors. The college playground is a hive of outdoor activity all year round, including football, cricket, and tug of war. Both basketball and volleyball courts are available. In addition to the student dorms’ indoor game rooms, there is a stunning architectural center, an indoor gym equipped with the newest technology, etc.

Facilities for badminton and table tennis are available indoors. Every year, college teams compete in cricket and football there. Many courts and playgrounds are available for practice regularly. Promising sportsmen and sportspeople receive specialized instruction. However, despite the encouragement of sports, it is made sure that educational achievement is never jeopardized. The college has cricket facilities as well. An academy of cricket was established for prospective players.

With a variety of buses, the college offers its students transportation services that virtually all of Jodhpur’s and Pali’s significant sites are covered.
